Baked Oatmeal

If you’re not onto the baked oatmeal trend yet then this is your sign to start. Not only is it usually packed with nutritious ingredients, but it tastes amazing! Baked oats usually consist of oats, milk, an egg (can also be replaced with a banana), and other kitchen staples.

If you’re in a time crunch in the morning, put it in the microwave for a minute and you have a quick and tasty breakfast for your morning. For a more cake-like consistency, stick to the oven method.

Different variations of baked oatmeal:

  • Cinnamon swirl baked oatmeal
  • Blueberry baked oatmeal
  • Chocolate chip baked oatmeal

Here is a quick baked oatmeal recipe that’s a fan favorite, the chocolate chip. Gather your ingredients: baking soda, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, half a ripe banana, half a cup of rolled oats, and a half cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

Place all the ingredients in the blender except the chocolate chips and blend until smooth. Grease a ramekin and pour in the blended ingredients. Top it off with chocolate chips and place it in the oven at 380 degrees for 35 minutes. For faster results, put it in the air fryer! The best part about baked oatmeal is that it’s completely customizable and there are so many recipes that have great health benefits.

Pancake Cereal

Ditch your everyday cereal routine and give pancake cereal a try. You may be thinking to yourself, what even is pancake cereal? The answer is quite simple, it consists of tiny pancakes combined in a bowl with milk.

In order to get the best results, pour your pancake batter into a squeeze bottle and squeeze out drops of batter onto a flat pan. While it may be time-consuming, the results are too cute to resist.

Flip over your mini pancakes once they are golden brown (should take a couple of minutes on each side). After they are cooked, garnish your mini pancakes with syrup and you’re set.

Nacho Table

A nacho table is one of the most extra yet perfect innovations to have ever happened. It all begins with covering your table with aluminum foil to give you the easiest cleanup possible. For your first ingredient, cover your table with your favorite tortilla chips.

From there, the world’s your oyster- go crazy with toppings. Ground beef, cheese, peppers, guac, jalapenos, pico de gallo, are just a few ideas to add to your nacho table. These options can be changed to satisfy vegetarian diets as well, substitute the meat for your favorite beans and there you have it.

Whipped Coffee

Now, this trend is nowhere near as popular as it was exactly a year ago, but the recent nostalgia for the first era of quarantine has encouraged people to return back to this staple. Whipped Coffee, or Dalgona coffee, is a Korean classic recipe that has taken the internet by storm.

It’s also a common coffee drink in Greece where it’s referred to as Frappe Coffee and in India where it’s known as Beaten Coffee. The term whipped coffee became popularized through none other than TikTok. This all you need

  • 2 tablespoons of Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of Instant coffee
  • A mixer
  • 2 tablespoons of Hot water
  • milk

Pour your sugar, instant coffee, and water into a bowl and begin mixing. Keep mixing these ingredients until they turn into a thick consistency (similar to that of yogurt) and the color should look like peanut butter.

Pour your favorite milk into a glass and top with the whipped mixture and just like that you have whipped coffee. If you are opting for a healthier option, trade the sugar for a sugar replacement and you’ll get the same results.

The mixing can be a little time-consuming, so we recommend a handheld mixer to do all the work for you. But if you’re looking to get a quick workout feel free to use a whisk and get mixing by hand.

Tortilla Wrap

Every now and then a popular sandwich trend floats around the internet, but this tortilla wrap trend is sure to surpass all the rest. Essentially all you need to do is split the tortilla into 4 quadrants and place a different ingredient in each one.

Fold in each quadrant one corner at a time, place it in a panini press and enjoy. The best part of this method is that it allows each ingredient to be distributed evenly, giving you the best flavor profile in each bite. This trend is perfect if you’re in the mood for a savory or sweet option.

Sweet filling ideas:

  • Bananas
  • Strawberries
  • Nutella
  • Nut butter of your choice
  • Whip cream

Savory filling ideas:

  • Cheese (an essential)
  • Eggs and hashbrowns (if you are in the mood for a breakfast twist)
  • Deli meat
  • Bacon
  • Avocado
  • Pizza sauce and pepperoni (for all you pizza lovers)

Feta Pasta

The feta pasta craze is adored among many for its amazing flavor and easy steps. All you need to do is throw a few ingredients in an oven-safe dish and let the oven do all the work.

What you need:

  • Tomatoes. The best type of tomatoes for this recipe is grape tomatoes. No cutting necessary, and it will make the mixing of all the ingredients much easier.
  • Feta cheese. The key is using a block rather than the crumbles to allow it to melt properly in the oven.
  • Pasta. Any shape will do!
  • Seasoning & Herbs. Olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and basil are the essentials, but feel free to add more if you’d like. Many go for fresh oregano or thyme as well.

The first to go in the oven is the tomatoes, block of feta, olive oil, and your seasoning of choice. These should stay in the oven until the tomatoes begin to burst at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes. As this is in the oven, cook your pasta as you would with any other pasta recipe.

Once the pasta is done cooking and the tomatoes are finished in the oven, combine everything together and devour! If you feel like going the extra mile, blend the tomatoes until they form a puree and pour over the cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh basil and dinner is served.

What Type of Pasta is the Best to Use In This Recipe?

Any type of past will do the trick with this recipe! A popular choice among many having tried the recipe on TikTok has been penne and bowtie. Although types of pasta with longer strands such as spaghetti can be used as well, the smaller the pasta the easier it is to combine all the ingredients.
